Summary Description
The candidate will be responsible for developing the hotel's sales as well as coordinating banquet events for clients. In collaboration with the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will work toward the common goal of maximizing occupancy rate and average rate.

Responsibilities

• Process, qualify, confirm and coordinate group and banquet requests (events, room rentals, room blocks).
• Coordinate groups with meetings (rooms, food, accommodations, etc.).
• Draft and distribute banquet event orders (BEO).
• Provide personalized service to clients before, during and after the event.
• Develop business opportunities;
• Submit monthly reports on the status of group and banquet sales;
• Participate in local activities, events related to employees and clients;
• Participate in weekly sales meetings, training and other meetings required by the Director of Sales;
• Execute any other task deemed compatible with the position, when required by the manager.

Skills and Requirements

• Ability to use advanced functions of a computer system (client tracking, inventory control, forecasting tools, etc.);
• Creative personality focused on results and customer service;
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and rigor in file management;
• Excellent bilingual communication skills
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience;
• College diploma in the field of hospitality (An asset).
