Your role Reporting to ABM management and working closely with the hotel's operations management, you will be responsible for all activities of the housekeeping department.
Your mission will be to mobilize your team, ensure impeccable cleanliness standards and optimize operations in order to offer an exceptional experience to each of our guests.
Through your leadership, your presence on the ground and your ability to develop talent, you will contribute directly to the overall performance of the hotels.
Your main responsibilities: Leadership

• Recruit, integrate, train and develop housekeeping teams.
• To supervise supervisors, room attendants and team members.
• Plan work schedules and ensure effective workforce management.
• To foster a positive, motivating and performance-oriented work environment.

Operations Management

• Supervise the department's daily operations.
• To ensure the quality and cleanliness of rooms, public spaces and facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections.
• Manage inventories, equipment and supplies.
• Optimize processes and team productivity.

Customer experience

• Maintain high standards of quality.
• Collaborate closely with the reception, maintenance and operations teams.
• Ensure prompt follow-up to guest requests and complaints.
• To actively participate in the continuous improvement of the customer experience.

Administrative management

• Control labor costs and departmental expenses.
• Participate in the development of operational action plans.
• Produce the required management reports.
• Ensure that performance objectives are met.

Desired profile: We are looking for a leader recognized for their organizational skills, ability to mobilize teams, and constant concern for quality.
You own:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a hotel housekeeping department;
• Experience in a high-volume hotel environment;
• Experience within an international hotel chain (an asset);
• Excellent team management skills;
• Inspiring leadership and a hands-on approach;
• Excellent prioritization skills;
• Ability to make decisions quickly;
• Good command of computer tools;
• Availability according to operational needs.

The successful candidate will be an employee of ABM Facility Services and will perform their duties at the Courtyard® & Residence Inn® Montreal Airport, working closely with the hotel's management teams to ensure excellence in housekeeping operations.

Your Role Reporting to ABM Management and working closely with the Hotel Operations team, you will oversee all aspects of the Housekeeping Department.
Your mission is to lead and inspire your team, maintain exceptional cleanliness standards, and continuously optimize departmental operations to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Through your leadership, hands-on approach, and commitment to developing talent, you will directly contribute to the overall success and performance of both hotels. Key Responsibilities Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop Housekeeping team members.
• Lead and coach supervisors, room attendants, and housekeeping aides.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure efficient workforce planning.
• Foster has a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.

Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities consistently meet the highest cleanliness standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Manage inventories, equipment, and housekeeping supplies.
• Continuously improve operational processes and team productivity.

Guest Experience

• Maintain exceptional quality and cleanliness standards.
• Work closely with the Front Office, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall guest experience.

Administrative Management

• Monitor labor costs and departmental expenses.
• Participate in the development of operational action plans.
• Prepare operational and management reports.
• Ensure departmental performance objectives are achieved.

Qualifications We are looking for a leader recognized for exceptional organizational skills, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to operational excellence.
You possess:

• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience in hotel housekeeping;
• Experience in a high-volume hotel environment;
• Experience with an international hotel brand is considered an asset;
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and inspire teams;
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities;
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Good computer proficiency;
• Flexibility to meet operational requirements.
