Compensation: $70,000 per year

Trinchera Ranch, a premier private guest ranch in the stunning Sangre de Cristo Mountains, is seeking a Wellness Supervisor to lead and manage the daily operations of the wellness program, massage treatment rooms, and fitness areas, ensuring exceptional guest/user experiences. A massage therapy license is required. This role guarantees service excellence, high-quality treatments, operational efficiency, and achievement of financial targets. Promotes a healthy, safe, and innovative environment that supports holistic well-being.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating memorable moments in a world-class setting.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Operations and Service 

  • Oversee the daily functioning of the wellness facility including fitness room, massage treatment rooms, and outdoor spa area (including a hot tub, cold plunge and sauna).
  • Ensure that all services (treatments, classes, wellness sessions) meet brand and quality standards.
  • Hands-on for all guest massage treatments and/or coordinating schedules, treatment booking, and staff availability.  
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, and special situations.
  • Maintain a calm, safe and professional atmosphere throughout all facilities.
  • Assist with other duties as required.

Job Requirements 

Education 

  • Licensed in the State of Colorado by having current certification with the MBLEx (Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination) and having license on file with the DPO (Division of Professions and Occupations) 
  • Proficient in group yoga instruction; preferably certified with a 200-hour teacher training (YTT) certificate
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Tourism, Spa Management, Sports Science, Physiotherapy, or related fields
  • Preferred additional certifications in wellness, holistic therapies, fitness, coaching or spa management

 Experience 

  • 2-5 years in spa, fitness, or wellness management.
  • Proven experience in leading service-oriented teams.
  • Knowledge of sales, budgeting and operational control.

Internal & External Collaboration 

  • Internal Teams: Restaurant & Bar, Guest Relations, Spa/Fitness, HR, Reservations, Landscaping, Maintenance, Finance, and others.
  • External Partners: Travel providers, tour guides, local artisans, wellness specialists, and other service vendors.
  • Objective: Maintain seamless communication, uphold service excellence, and deliver personalized, enriching guest experiences.

Knowledge: Professionalism, integrity, warmth, and empathy.

Skill: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction. Familiarity with hospitality software systems (e.g., Skill or similar platforms).

Ability: Problem solving, initiative, team-oriented leadership, adaptability, poise under pressure, and attention to detail.

Training/Coaching: Develop ongoing training programs focused on service excellence, wellness techniques and safety protocols.

Quality and Safety Control: Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of treatment rooms, fitness area, equipment and wet areas; apply sanitation and hygiene protocols.
