The 215-room, dual-branded, Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott will be located on the scenic coast of Sand City, California, moments away from some of the Central Coast of California’s most iconic views and attractions. The site is a very short walking distance from picturesque Monterey State Beach and 10-minutes from Monterey’s famous Cannery Row.
This dual-branded project, the only new, branded, select-service/extended-stay hotel to be developed in the area in quite some time, will capitalize on the area’s numerous and stable demand drivers. Attractions like the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Laguna Seca Raceway, renowned golf courses, and magnificent landscapes draw visitors from around the globe.
The hotel’s lounge, fitness center, pool/jacuzzi, meeting space, and restaurant/bar all exceed brand standards and are designed to provide an elevated level of amenities. Construction started in Q1 2024 and opening is scheduled for Q1 2026.
