The Opportunity

We are seeking a polished, relationship-driven leader with a genuine “hunter’s” instinct — someone who sees a cold call not as a chore, but as the first step toward a lasting partnership. You will take the helm of our sales and marketing strategy, directing a talented team and shaping how our property is perceived across every market segment, from corporate accounts to SMERF and beyond.

What You’ll Be Entrusted With

• Leading hotel-wide sales and marketing initiatives that drive revenue across rooms and catering alike
• Inspiring and developing a sales team, including coordinators and catering staff
• Crafting and executing a strategic sales and marketing plan tailored to the Alcoa–Knoxville market
• Prospecting and cultivating new business across corporate, government, SMERF, leisure, and association segments
• Hosting compelling site tours that turn prospects into loyal clients
• Representing the property within the local business community and industry organizations
• Overseeing promotional campaigns and guest communications that build lasting brand loyalty
• Championing a guest experience so exceptional that it earns repeat business as a matter of course

What You Bring to the Table

• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in hotel sales and marketing
• A proven record of leading and motivating high-performing teams
• Sharp negotiation skills and an instinct for building genuine client relationships
• A bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience that speaks for itself
• Working familiarity with sales systems; Delphi experience is a welcome plus
• A flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Deep familiarity with the local market and a proactive, guest-first mindset
• Experience with kosher catering or multicultural events is a distinct advantage
