The front desk agent accompanies the client from arrival to departure. They ensure that high-level customer service is provided at all times and in compliance with the standards of the chain and banner.
Responsibilities- Welcome and register clients upon arrival and process their departure in an efficient and professional manner.
- Make, modify or cancel reservations and inform guests of hotel policies.
- Communicate information concerning room status, VIPs, priorities, early departures or extended stays and client requests with other departments.
- Verify and adjust charges to client accounts, while being responsible for cash transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Initiative, attention to detail and autonomy.
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and work with computer systems.
