Job Summary

We are looking for people who love their city and wish to provide a memorable and personalized experience to each of our guests. From the moment our clients set foot in Hôtel Humaniti Montréal, our artisans will take center stage and will be responsible for the entirety of the guest experience.
Our Montreal artisans will work jointly with the front desk team to provide impeccable service that reflects our DNA: refined, captivating, and connected. At Hôtel Humaniti Montréal, we are looking for people who have humanity at heart, and who will deliver an experience that reflects our wellness concept to our clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Welcome and register guests upon arrival and process their departure in an efficient and professional manner. (Including mobile check-in/check-out)
• Assign rooms appropriately (rates, special requests, etc.).
• Take, modify or cancel reservations and note special requests.
• Offer personalized suggestions on the various attractions and experiences offered in Montreal.
• Answer incoming internal and external calls.
• Redirect calls according to customer needs.
• Answer customer questions and take action. (Handle requests in GXP)
• Answer customer questions via chat, email, etc.
• Make courtesy calls.
• Charge mini bar charges.
• Take deposits.
• Manage the water dispenser and coffee machine.
• Handle calls, place orders and room service deliveries as well as tray pickup.
• Deliver gift deliveries to rooms.
• Check rooms at checkout to ensure the guest has left
• Ensure at all times an impeccable presentation of reception areas, back office and common spaces.
• Adopt a proactive attitude in managing customer concerns/difficulties.
• Provide service that exceeds our customers' expectations and convey this quality of service to the entire team.
• Ensure smooth service delivery with the various departments of the hotel.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Skills and Requirements

• Excellent organizational abilities, priority management skills and outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
• Proactivity, initiative and autonomy.
• (3) years of experience in high-end customer service.
• Bilingualism (French and English, required due to an international clientele).
• Availability day, evening, weekends.
• Experience with Marriott chain hotels, an asset.
