Job Title: Director of Sales (DOS)

Job Summary
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the hotel’s sales strategy to maximize revenue, occupancy, and market share. This role oversees all sales activities, builds strong client relationships, and ensures alignment with brand standards and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in corporate, group, and leisure segments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and pricing strategies.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team goals.
- Set performance targets and conduct regular evaluations.
- Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and networking events.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
4. Revenue Management Collaboration
- Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and inventory.
- Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and demand analysis.
5. Brand & Marketing Alignment
- Ensure all sales activities align with Marriott brand standards.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, promotions, and digital strategies.
6. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Track KPIs such as occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
- Experience with Marriott systems and brand standards preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
