Create memorable stays through thoughtful service and confident leadership. Boar’s Head Resort is seeking a Guest Service Manager to lead Guest Services and Front Office operations during assigned shifts. You will coach the team, welcome guests, resolve concerns, and coordinate the details that make each visit feel personal. This hands-on role reports to the Director of Front Office.

What you will do

Lead guest-facing operations and stay visible in the lobby, arrival, and departure areas.

Coach, train, and support team members; help manage shift coverage, briefings, and service priorities.

Own guest concerns and service recovery, documenting solutions and following through on requests.

Coordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions, guest preferences, and requests across Resort departments.

Support check-in, check-out, room assignments, guest accounts, payments, and key control; protect guest information and follow financial procedures.

Work with Housekeeping and Engineering on room readiness and maintenance; maintain accurate records and shift handoffs.

Help guests enjoy Resort amenities and local experiences; uphold safety, security, emergency procedures, and professional service standards.

What you bring

At least two years of hotel, resort, or comparable front-office or guest-services experience required.

Prior experience supervising, leading, or serving as manager on duty for a guest-facing hospitality team required.

Ability to lead a team, resolve guest concerns, prioritize competing needs, and remain composed in a busy service environment.

Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to personalized hospitality.

Comfort using hotel or Front Office technology and Microsoft Office; ability to learn Resort systems quickly.

Schedule and work environment

Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts. This active, guest-facing role involves extended standing and walking and movement throughout Resort guest areas. You must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with Resort safety, attendance, conduct, guest-service, confidentiality, and appearance standards.
