Introducing Poza

Poza is the rooftop bar and restaurant at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. A Classic California poolside fare reimagined, featuring Pacific Rim influences with the highest quality sourced regional produce and seafood. Our “liquid kitchen” will craft a curated roster of refreshing cocktails and spritzes. Beverages will also include select wines by the glass and popular beers —including some of LA’s finest.

Position Overview

As the Host of Poza, rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar, you are the first and lasting impression for our guests. With grace, confidence, and warmth, you will welcome every visitor, manage reservations, and orchestrate the flow of the rooftop dining experience. Your attention to detail and intuitive hospitality will set the tone for an unforgettable visit to one of Beverly Hills’ most anticipated venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and ensure seamless check-in and seating, with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience; offering information about daily specials and promotions.
• Manage reservations and walk-in flow using the designated reservation platform, ensuring accurate seating assignments and timely updates.
• Collaborate with service and management teams to provide exceptional guest experience and satisfaction.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful touches to enhance their visit.
• Maintain an organized and elegant host stand and entrance area.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, and leadership.
• Support overall dining room ambiance by assisting with cleanliness, lighting, and guest inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel or lifestyle establishment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, high-volume environment, with attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy).
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required.
