The Chateau Mar Golf Resort - Fort Lauderdale, a TradeMark Collection by Wyndham, drew its inspiration from the building’s previous lives. The property, formerly the Inverrary Vacation Resort, was once an exclusive tennis club in Broward County made famous by Jackie Gleason, who hosted a PGA tournament in Inverrary from 1972 to 1980. The property also had a colorful history with many famous guests throughout the years, including politicians and celebrities. The Chateau Mar’s ode to its historic background includes classic, throw-back furniture and décor throughout the property, including all sorts of fun and interesting memorabilia.
