A new idea
The bold decision to open a contemporary art museum open to the public free of charge and to combine it with Louisville’s first boutique hotel would create both an economic driver for the community and an oasis where art challenges, amuses, stimulates conversation, and provokes new ideas.
Designed by Deborah Berke Partners, rooms are spacious with high ceilings, contemporary furnishings, original terrazzo floors and large windows and provide a welcome sanctuary from the art and activity that fills the 21c galleries.
21c Durham features a wide range of spaces – many with cutting edge audiovisual technology and large light-filled windows – making it the perfect venue for board retreats, executive meetings, cocktail gatherings, reception dinners, charitable events, intimate weddings or any other special occasion.
