Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
Conduct welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and other mechanical repairs to maintain the building’s structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely while executing maintenance tasks across various facilities equipment.
Oversee plumbing system maintenance and repairs, ensuring all plumbing fixtures and systems operate efficiently.
Manage facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC system repair, electrical work, plumbing repairs, and building interior upkeep.
Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, providing leadership and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using schematics and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures.
Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with professionalism and a focus on customer service excellence.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building interior maintenance.
Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, welding techniques, carpentry, painting (including residential), and plumbing system maintenance.
Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance procedures aligned with MRO practices.
Excellent leadership skills with previous supervising experience in a maintenance environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and guests alike.
Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex systems; ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, welding, HVAC repair, plumbing repairs, and general facilities maintenance.
Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to resolving issues swiftly while maintaining high standards of quality.
