The Role

The Accounts Receivable Associate plays a vital role within the accounting team, overseeing A/R processes while ensuring adherence to company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable accounting standards.

What You Will Be Doing

Process invoices and payments

Identify groups and events to be billed and partner with the sales team to ensure a valid method of payment is received.

Support month-end closing activities related to receivables.

Maximize speed of collection while maintaining good relations with clients and ensure adherence to company policies.

Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments and adjustments.

Support controller with data and analysis for A/R performance.

What Makes You You

Knowledge of hotel accounting processes (night audit, A/R, Lightspeed) preferred

Accurate data entry and reconciliation skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfortable with spreadsheets and accounting software

Must be flexible to work including holidays and weekends (based on business needs).
