This is not an entry position.This is a diversified position requiring competencies in all aspects of the Engineer scope of responsibilities. Preventive maintenance, Mechanical, electrical, plumping, painting etc.Qualified candidates must have minimal 2years' experienceas afacilityEngineer in the hospitality, skilled nursing,residentialor housing industry.

Experience inmaintainingmechanicalsinrestaurants and typical guestroomsisrequired.Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing& /or electric are a plus. Bilingual English and other tongueispreferred for guest interaction.Experienced in OSHA, fire safety, elevator entrapment & other safety related mattersisrequired.Experienced in technical competencies, which are used to communicate & resolve Engineering needs isrequired. IE:Synergyor otherpropertymaintenance system.Candidatesmust be able to work independently, multi-task in an engaging and busy work environment.Heavy phone, and guest interactions, be able to work a flexible, rotating schedule, which includes overnight, evening, AM, weekends, Holidays.

Essential Functions:

¨ Operate and maintain high-pressure boiler for the Laundry operation.

¨ Operate and maintain low-pressure boiler.

¨ Operate and maintain other vessels as needed for hot water kitchen steam and air conditioning.

¨ Assist mechanics and maintains men in repairs.

¨ Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.

¨ Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.

¨ Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

¨ Possess knowledge of all emergency service switches and shut-off valves for electrical feeders, incoming water lines, and natural gas lines.

¨ Know the locations of all sprinkler zone valves.

¨ Possess ability to obtain and complete service tickets through the OmniComp System.

Tools and Equipment:

¨ Telephone, pen/pencil, photocopying machine, handtools, meters, temperature sensors, drain cleaning machines, torches.

Working Environment:

¨ Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.

¨ Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

¨ Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

¨ Emergency asbestos removal.
