As Junior Sous Chef, you are a key part of the kitchen team, supporting the day to day operation while helping to deliver dishes that are fresh, consistent, and full of character.

You lead by example on the floor, support the wider brigade, and help create a positive and organised kitchen environment. With a passion for quality, a strong work ethic, and a natural sense of teamwork, you know how to keep standards high while staying calm in the rush. 

What you will be doing
  • Support the day to day kitchen operation and service at Celia
  • Prepare and present dishes to the highest quality and consistency standards
  • Guide, motivate, and support chefs on shift
  • Help oversee mise en place, service flow, and section readiness
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance
  • Support stock control, ordering, and waste management
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and performance driven kitchen culture What we are looking for
  • Previous experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar supervisory kitchen role
  • A hands on leader with a passion for quality and teamwork
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and organisation
  • Calm under pressure and confident in a fast paced service environment
  • Eager to grow, learn, and take the next step in your culinary career
  • Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus
