Omni Viking Lakes Hotelis seeking aGuest Room Attendant.This positionis responsible formaintaininga high standard of cleanliness in each guest room by refreshing rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in.

Salary for this position starts at (based onexperience):$19.00/hour.Full Time Associates at Omni Viking Lakes are entitled toelectthe following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, PaidMaternity Leave,401kand Paid Time Off Accrual. Essential Job Functions:

• Thoroughly clean guest roomsincludingmaking beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting

• Restock and replace used items within guest rooms 

• Communicate clean status of each room upon completion 

• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms 

• Stock supply cart and ensure that it is always neat and well organized  

• Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order

• Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time

• Ability and willingness bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.

• Must be willing to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays

• Previousexperience in housekeeping is strongly preferred

• Must be able to communicate effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for an extendedperiodor for an entire shift.

• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight withoutassistance.

Working Environment:

• Interior of hotel, diningroomand restaurant kitchen, with occasional travel around resort property as needed.

• Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
