The Omni Mont-Royal hotel, located on the historic Sherbrooke Street in the heart of the Golden Square Mile, has 299 modern rooms and several spacious suites. Job Description / description de l'emploi

This position functions as the primary, strategic business leader of the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal, responsible for all aspects of the operation. Responsibilities include guest and associate satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment to ownership. Leads a team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies. Ensures implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives,with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations. In addition, the General Manager builds relationships with key customers through personal involvement in the sales process. The position ensures Omni Hotels & Resorts sales channels are leveraged and initiates independent and proactive sales activities, when appropriate, to generate demand.

En outre, le directeur gnral tablit des relations avec les clients cls en s'impliquant personnellement dans le processus de vente. Il veille ce que les canaux de vente d'Omni Hotels & Resorts soient exploits et lance, le cas chant, des activits de vente indpendantes et proactives afin de gnrer de la demande.

Qualifications / qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Hospitality Program education preferred
  • Proven success with 10 years minimum experience as a General Manager in an upscale environment.
  • Strong Financial and Business acumen skills (Budgeting, Forecasting)
  • Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
  • Proficiency with, or ability to learn, operational software, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
  • Well versed with municipal, provincial regulations
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and make critical, high-stakes decisions.
  • Able to mentor and motivate teams to provide best in class customer service and financial achievements
  • Strong understanding of a Union environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting, team communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Must be bilingual in French and English

Qualifications:

  • Formation postsecondaire en htellerie prfre.
  • Exprience russie d'au moins 10 ans en tant que directeur gnral dans un environnement haut de gamme
  • Solides comptences financires et commerciales (budgtisation, prvisions).
  • Capacit avre laborer et raliser des plans financiers.
  • Matrise ou capacit d'apprentissage des logiciels oprationnels, des systmes CRM et des outils d'analyse de donnes.
  • Solides connaissances pratiques des procdures oprationnelles.
  • Bonne connaissance des rglementations municipales et provinciales
  • Solide capacit de prise de dcision
  • Capacit avre diriger des quipes, rsoudre des problmes complexes et prendre des dcisions critiques et haut risque.
  • Capacit encadrer et motiver les quipes afin d'offrir un service la clientle et des rsultats financiers de premier ordre
  • Bonne comprhension du milieu syndical
  • Excellentes comptences verbales et crites pour la rdaction de rapports, la communication au sein de l'quipe et la gestion des parties prenantes.
  • Doit tre bilingue en franais et en anglais

  • Reviews sales goals and strategies to ensure alignment with positioning and pricing
  • Ensures sales and revenue engines are leveraged to drive RevPAR improvement year over year.
  • Ensures capital expenditure funds are being budgeted and deployed effectively and within program.
  • Holds staff accountable for successful performance in a positive manner.
  • Utilizes an “open door” policy.
  • Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding property goals to produce desired results.
  • Fosters associate engagement to providing excellent service.
  • Conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Hires executive committee team members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity and entrepreneurial leadership to meet the business needs of the operation.
  • Works collaboratively with various Homeowners Associations and Global Sales Officesto build and nurture strong relationships to aid the business objectives of the resort
  • Provides strategic direction and direct support to ensure the success of the group sales team.
  • Participates in daily Operations meetings to ensure strong and sustained interdepartmental communications, problem resolutionand guest satisfaction
  • Participates directly in risk management issues and prevention including legal and workers compensation
  • Ensures accurate revenue, expense and labor forecasts and execution
  • Creates appropriate development plans based on individual strengths, development needs, career aspirations and abilities.
  • Participates in member relations to facilitate retention and acquisition.

  • Recrute les membres de l'quipe du comit excutif qui font preuve d'une solide expertise fonctionnelle, de crativit et d'un leadership entrepreneurial afin de rpondre aux besoins oprationnels de l'entreprise.
  • Collabore avec diverses associations de propritaires et bureaux commerciaux internationaux afin d'tablir et d'entretenir des relations solides pour contribuer la ralisation des objectifs commerciaux du complexe htelier.
  • Fournit une orientation stratgique et un soutien direct pour assurer le succs de l'quipe commerciale du groupe.
  • Participe aux runions oprationnelles quotidiennes afin d'assurer une communication interdpartementale solide et durable, la rsolution des problmes et la satisfaction des clients.
  • Participe directement aux questions de gestion et de prvention des risques, y compris les questions juridiques et l'indemnisation des accidents du travail.
  • Assure l'exactitude des prvisions et de l'excution des recettes, des dpenses et de la main-d'œuvre.
  • labore des plans de dveloppement appropris en fonction des forces individuelles, des besoins de dveloppement, des aspirations professionnelles et des capacits.
