Originally a 1930s ultra-modern motor court, Hotel San José was transformed into 40-room urban bungalow-style accommodations hidden behind stucco walls amidst lush garden courtyards on South Congress Avenue. Considered the quintessential Austin hotel experience, San José is more than just a place to stay. The courtyard serves as a gathering place and community hub for locals and visitors thanks to its cravable cocktails and beloved happenings, including the annual South x San Jose concert series and over-the-top Halloween party.
