In the heart of Music City, Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View is looking for an energetic, dependable team member to join our Food & Beverage team as a Barback / Food & Beverage Attendant.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys variety. In addition to supporting our bartenders and keeping the bar stocked and organized, you’ll assist with light food preparation, help serve guests, and step in wherever needed to keep service running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Keep the bar stocked, organized, clean, and ready for service

• Assist bartenders with setup, garnishes, glassware, ice, beverages, and supplies

• Restock beer, wine, liquor, mixers, food items, and other supplies throughout the shift

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service areas, and back-of-house spaces

• Wash and organize glassware, utensils, and smallwares as needed

• Assist with light cooking and preparation of menu items in accordance with hotel standards

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures

• Serve food and beverages to guests and assist with clearing and resetting tables

• Help deliver food orders and ensure guests receive prompt, friendly service

• Support bartenders and servers during busy periods by anticipating operational needs

• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries and inventory

• Help with opening and closing duties for the bar and food service areas

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members

• Follow all alcohol service, safety, sanitation, and hotel policies

• Provide warm, attentive service while representing the Hampton Inn & Suites brand

• Assist with banquet or special event food and beverage service when needed

• Perform other Food & Beverage duties as assigned based on business needs

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, and move supplies as required

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

• Previous bar, restaurant, kitchen, hotel, or Food & Beverage experience is preferred but not required

• Food safety and alcohol service certifications are a plus
