As a Banqueting employee Ambulant at Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam, you are responsible for delivering exceptional service during meetings, events, conferences, receptions, private dinners, and celebrations throughout the hotel. You play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring every event is set up and executed to the highest standards.

This is a fully operational and physically active position. You will spend your shift on the work floor, setting up event spaces, serving guests, supporting events, and working closely with your colleagues to ensure a seamless operation. No two days are the same, and flexibility, teamwork, and a hands-on attitude are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, arrange, and break down meeting rooms and event spaces according to event specifications and hotel standards.

• Prepare banquet areas, furniture, audiovisual equipment, and service stations prior to events.

• Welcome and assist guests during meetings, conferences, receptions, and banqueting events.

• Serve food and beverages in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.

• Ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout service.

• Replenish supplies and maintain service standards during events.

• Support colleagues across the Food & Beverage department when required.

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, health, and safety procedures.

• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and deliver the Kimpton service experience at all times.
