Responsibilities

Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service

Set tables according to type of event and service standards

Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on menu selections

Communicate with culinary teamregardingmeal requirements, allergies, dietaryneeds,and special requests

Record transactions in MICROS system at the time of order

Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage

Presentaccuratecheck to guest and process payment

Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day

Clean and set up tables

Complete closing duties

Requirements

2+ years of fine dining serving experience

Hotel experience an asset

Knowledge of wines and food and beverage service

Good verbal and written skills

Knowledge of Microsoft

French Service

Ability to work well under pressure

Good up-selling skills

Self-motivated,flexibleand reliable

Honest and dependable

Great customer service and a positive attitude

Smart Serve certified
