JOB PURPOSE: The Spa Attendant will work as a part of the spa team to consistentlyprovide the highest possible standard of guest service, creating asensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a senseof balance and harmony in their lives.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

As part of the MOKARA Spa team, Spa Attendants consistently provide the highestpossible standard of guest service, creating a sensory journey for guests, helping themto rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.

Ensure the Fitness Center is maintained and set to Omni standard.

Responsible for greeting guests, providing locker set up of robes and slippers, beveragesand checking in and checking out of guests.

Maintain cleanliness and neatness of spa facility, locker room and fitness center.

Responsible for escorting guests to the locker room, relaxation area and enlighteningthem on their services.

Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the spa facility.

Responsible for opening and/or closing of the hammam, sauna, steam room andwhirlpool areas, and their daily sanitation.

Ensure pre-selling, up-selling and cross-selling of services and retail products to eachguest.

Relay, with confidence, both product and service benefits to guests and offer suggestedretail and treatment opportunities.

Provide tours of the spa, offer/serve beverages and snacks.

Assist guests in the ritual area, relaxation space and jacuzzi as needed ensuringexceptional experiences and safety while with us.

Communicate spa promotions with guests.

Ensure all guest challenges are resolved in a timely manner and management is madeaware of situation.QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 1-year experience working in a customer service-based position.

Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language required, must be able tocommunicate with guests and staff professionally and with empathy.

Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with astrong attention to detail to the client’s needs.

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.

Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Must obtain a State of Florida TIPS Alcoholic Beverage Server Permit.ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:

Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds withoutassistance.

Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.

Requires repetitive motion, including utilizing telephone/computer for an extendedperiod or for an entire shift.TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:

Desktop computer, selected spa program, printer, telephone, copier, fax machine andscanner.
