YOUR ROLE

Under the supervision of the controller, the accounting technician supports daily accounting and administrative management activities. You will also collaborate with different hotel departments to ensure the monitoring of financial operations in an efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Among the responsibilities, the following are found, among others:

• Enter data and organize accounting documents.
• Verify and process supplier invoices.
• Perform billing to owners.
• Ensure the monitoring of payments received and prepare bank deposits.
• Support the management of accounts payable and receivable.
• Develop short monitoring reports (daily revenues, payments, etc.).
• Perform various administrative tasks (filing, document updates, communication with suppliers and owners, and others).
• Provide general support to the accounting department and for any other related administrative task.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma of professional studies (DEP) or college studies (DEC) in accounting, administration or related field
• Experience in accounting or administration (hotel sector, an asset)
• Bilingualism (French and English), oral and written – required
