Summary Description
We are looking for a passionate Assistant Front Desk Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all front desk services.

Our Assistant Front Office Manager will guide our staff and valets to provide our guests with impeccable service that reflects our DNA: sophisticated, engaging, and connected. Tasks and Responsibilities

• To support, supervise, and guide the reception team in all processes of interaction with our guests.
• Participate in the training of the reception team and ensure daily monitoring of learning progress.
• Ensure that the reception team has the necessary tools for the smooth running of operations.
• Responsible for customer requests and their completion within the established deadlines according to hotel standards.
• Monitor the daily operations of the reception area.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction and complaints management.
• Respond to customer comments on various booking platforms and ensure after-sales follow-up.
• Ensures proper management of client files and invoicing.
• To take the initiative in efforts to improve the department.
• Supervise the reception team, including reception supervisors, to ensure compliance with all established procedures.
• Supporting the Reception Manager in her duties.
• Managing disciplinary cases.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the department.
• To offer a service that exceeds our clients' expectations and to convey this quality of service to the entire team.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with hotel standards and policies.
• To ensure a smooth flow of service across the different departments of the hotel.

Skills and Requirements

• College or university diploma in hotel management, or any other equivalent training.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and provide outstanding customer service.
• Excellent ability to establish and maintain good business relationships with other departments and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and know how to manage stress.
• Proactivity, initiative, and autonomy.
• Enhanced skills in personnel management and mobilization.
• (3) years of experience in the hotel industry, at the reception desk.
• (2) years of experience in team supervision in the hospitality industry.
• Bilingual (French and English, a requirement due to an international clientele).
• Available during the day, evening and weekend.
• Experience with Marriott chain hotels is an asset.
