Position Summary

The Groundskeeper Lead reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of the resort grounds. This hands-on role assists with grounds maintenance and supporting the grounds team to ensure the resort remains clean, safe, and guest-ready year-round.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance, including trimming, mulching, weed control, and debris removal
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the resort, including guest sites, roadways, and common areas
• Remove storm debris and address outdoor safety hazards
• Operate power tools and company vehicles safely
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Assist in leading and supporting grounds team members
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
