BASICPURPOSE
To ensureasafe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environmentwhileprovidingmaintenance services toguests in a
courteous,professionaland engaging manner.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience)
Excellent customer serviceandproblem solvingskills
Mustpossesspainting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, minor carpentry,lightingand computer skills.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
2 years of commercialbuildingor hotelmaintenance experience and/or relevant technical training, includingone year ofcommercial laundry and kitchen equipmentand HVACexperience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assisthotel guests with any guest room maintenance issues (plumbing, lighting, electrical, painting,etc)
Schedule and complete equipment PMs.
Operate andmaintainlow-pressure boiler for the hot water system.
Operate and maintain other vessels as needed for hotwaterkitchen steam and air conditioning systems.
Repair andmaintaincommercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
Repair andmaintainswimming pool and pool equipment.
Work as a team to keep the back of house areas and equipment inclean,safe, good working order.
Assistsmechanics and external contractors in repairs of hotel property and equipment.
Completion of all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
Have a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.
Be familiar with all hotel amenitiesand hotelfacilities
To be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments(to includePBX, Guest Services, Housekeeping, F&B outlets, Banquets, Sales, Engineering and Purchasing)
Maintain 4 - Star/4 – Diamond Standards of guest service
Aid guests inlocatingother areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance;maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Effectivelyoperatecomputer,two wayradio, power and hand toolsrequiredto complete responsibilities.
Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained
Be actively engaged with our guests.Identifythe needs of our guests and meet these needs, aiming to exceed expectations at every opportunity.

ENVIRONMENT and POSITION ANALYSIS
Walk, stand, climb, bend, reachover-head,squatand kneel forlong periodsata time, as the position requiresconstant motion.Crawling for short periods of time.
Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds withoutassistanceand push/ pull objects weighing up to 75 pounds withoutassistance.
Candidates must be able toutilizestep stools and ladders effectively.
Candidates must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT
Desktop computer (Microsoft Office), printer, telephone, copier, faxmachine, two-way radio with earpiece.
VING Card system, Power Hand Tools, Basic Hand Tools (ie. Hammer, Screwdriver, etc.), Step stools and ladders
