The Beauty House by Pulitzer Amsterdam is a refined beauty and wellbeing space located within Pulitzer Amsterdam. For the past two years, we have welcomed an international clientele seeking high-quality treatments in a calm and discreet environment.

We are currently looking for an experienced Hair Stylist to join our professional and passionate team. In this role, you play a key part in delivering refined guest experiences through expert hair services, always with precision, discretion and attention to detail.

Your main responsibilities include blow-dry treatments, hair cutting, hair colouring and make-up services, tailored to the individual needs of each guest.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality hair treatments, including blow-dry services, cutting, colouring, make-up and scalp massages as part of the treatment menu.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience at a five-star level.
• Tailor each treatment to the individual needs, preferences and expectations of guests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both local and hotel guests.
• Provide informed advice on hair care, colour maintenance, treatment benefits and suitable product recommendations.
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently and coordinate closely with reception to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
• Maintain a calm and professional presence within a five-star hotel environment.
• Invest in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest developments within the industry.

We are looking for a Hair Stylist who has:

• Proven experience in blow-dry services, hair cutting, colouring and make-up application at a high service level.
• Experience within luxury environments and high service-level standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening and writing). Dutch is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A dedicated approach to staying up to date with the latest techniques in hair and make-up.
• The ability to work with precision, calmness and attention to detail.
• The ability to carry out light administrative tasks
