About The Role

The Director of Guest Services is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and enhancing the overall guest experience across all service touchpoints within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure exceptional service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The Director will lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. They will collaborate closely with other departments to align guest service goals with broader organizational objectives and drive innovation in service delivery. Ultimately, the Director of Guest Services plays a critical role in building lasting relationships with guests, enhancing brand reputation, and contributing to the organization's long-term success.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in guest services or customer experience management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of guest service principles, customer relationship management, and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a multi-location or large-scale hospitality or service organization.
  • Familiarity with customer service software and data analytics tools.
  • Certification in customer experience management or hospitality leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing innovative guest service programs that improved satisfaction scores.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the guest services team to deliver outstanding customer experiences consistently.
  • Develop and implement guest service policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor guest feedback and service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and sales to align guest service initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize guest service operations.
  • Design and conduct training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in guest relations and service excellence.
  • Resolve escalated guest issues promptly and effectively, ensuring positive outcomes and guest retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and improve guest service strategies.
