Corp Accounting Analyst

Twenty Four Seven Hotels is currently seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our finance team as a full-time Associate. This position is based out of our offices in Irvine, CA and focuses on supporting the team’s day-to-day accounting operations. In this role, you will assist with routine financial processes that enable our Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns!

Job Duties

• Perform daily cash reconciliations, including Accounts Receivable, credit card, and cash transactions and work with Senior Staff Accountants to clear variances
• Review, audit, and post daily income journals, and validate property report submissions for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor chargebacks and research, investigate, and resolve variances and discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close and support Controllers with account research, data requests, and financial reporting
• Oversee Microsoft Teams usage for the Finance department, monitoring chats to ensure timely responses and effective communication with property teams
• Post journal entries into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with established procedures

Job Requirements

• 1–2 years of general accounting experience preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic Microsoft Suite
• Solid mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with property teams and corporate staff
• Strong research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently using multiple information sources
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work and follow tasks through to completion
