The Residence Inn by Marriott Pleasanton is a lovely all-suite hotel, located near I-580 and I-680, adjacent to the Stoneridge Mall. Our extended stay hotel with 3 floors, 135 suites and 3 meeting rooms offers the "home away from home" experience to our guests.
We are currently looking for a Night Auditor to join our great team and enjoy all the benefits of our exciting hotel environment. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing our guests with excellent service at the front desk from making the reservation to departure. Shifts including weekends and holidays! This is a graveyard position.
Must have flexible schedule! Position requires PM/Overnight availability including weekends and holidays.
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome guest with warmth and professionalism, providing exceptional service from the moment they make a reservation to the time they check out.
- Respond to guest needs, requests, and concerns with care and urgency, helping to make every stay smooth, enjoyable, and memorable.
- Promote and sell guest rooms, dining experiences, and seasonal hotel offers, helping guests make the most of their visit.
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions, balancing reports for management.
- Monitor and work with hotel security and ensure guest safety during overnight hours.
- Set up the next day’s operations by preparing reports, updating systems, and assisting with early check-ins or wake-up calls as needed
What We Need:
- High school graduate. Some college preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years Night Audit experience required
- Previous Guest Service Agent; Marriott experience preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Valid RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification
- Relevant military experience is a plus
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background and credit check
