Essential Job Functions:

  • Masterdrinkrecipesaccording tobrandstandards.

  • Mustmaintainfull familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings, including wine service.

  • Supports new Omni Safe and Clean protocols throughout the outlet to support Omni's Covid-19 related sanitation protocols. 

  • Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual andbartender’smanual.Jiggerspour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.

  • Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames whenobtained.

  • Attend toallneedsof the guest during their visit to the restaurant.

  • Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.

  • Communicate withculinaryteamregardingmeal requirements, allergies, dietaryneeds,and special requests.

  • Alertthe managerimmediatelyif a member or guest has a suggestion,complaint,or issue.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant/bar area.

  • Send orders usingMICROSsystem, presentaccuratechecktoguestand process payment.

  • Complete all opening and closing side work.

  • Ensureconsistencyin the presentation and recipes of allcocktails.

  • Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

  • Ensuring all productsarewithin date and using the FIFO method of storage.

  • Monitor inventory,place,and receive warehouseordersdaily andensureproper par levels of allproducts.Notify managersimmediately if there are discrepancies

  • Attend department meetings and other required companytrainings.

  • Perform any otherduties asassigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Mustbe ata minimum of 18 years old.

  • Twoyearsbartending experience.

  • PreviousBartendingand guest service experiencerequired,upscale hotel or resort experience is strongly preferred.

  • Must have andmaintaincurrent TIPS,ServSafeor equivalent alcohol training.

  • MICROS Experience preferred.

  • Mustbe able to communicate effectively.

  • Must consistentlydemonstrateexcellent interpersonal skills, be teamwork-oriented, andexhibita positive attitude.

  • Must be willing toworka flexible schedule, including weekends,holidays,and evenings.

  • Must agree and adhere tocompensationacknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for an extendedperiodor for an entire shift.

  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objectsweighing up to 50 pounds withoutassistance.

Working Environment:

  • Interior of restaurant kitchen and designated bar area, with occasional travel aroundthe property as needed.

  • Exposure to a kitchen environment withhigh temperatures.

  • Exterior of Hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

  • Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.

  • Exposure to food items and beverages.
