An Executive Housekeeper oversees the housekeeping department in a hotel, ensuring cleanliness, staff management, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff: Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate employees, ensuring high performance and adherence to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation: Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet health, safety, and aesthetic standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols: Create schedules, standard operating procedures, and quality control measures to maintain efficiency and hygiene.
- Inventory and supply management: Monitor and order cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring proper stock levels.
- Coordination with other departments: Work closely with front desk, maintenance, and food & beverage teams to address guest requests and operational needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in housekeeping or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
- Leadership and organizational skills: Ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of cleaning practices: Familiarity with sanitation standards, chemicals, and equipment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
