About The Role

The Overnight Security/Valet position is a critical role responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the premises during nighttime hours. This role involves monitoring the property to prevent unauthorized access, responding promptly to any incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to guests and residents. The individual will manage vehicle parking and retrieval efficiently, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. This position requires vigilance, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, the role contributes to creating a secure and welcoming atmosphere that supports the overall reputation and operational success of the facility.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security or valet services.
• Certification in security training or first aid/CPR.
• Familiarity with security technology such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicle types safely.
• Customer service experience in a hospitality or residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises regularly to ensure the safety and security of the property and its occupants during overnight hours.
• Operate the valet service by parking and retrieving vehicles promptly and safely, assisting guests with their vehicles in a courteous manner.
• Respond quickly and effectively to any security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, following established protocols and reporting as necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and vehicle movements to support security and operational records.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with any requests or concerns during the shift.
