What You’ll Do as Front Desk Agent
- Warm Welcome: Greet, register, issue room keys, and assist guests with inquiries to ensure an exceptional arrival and departure experience.
- Guest Service: Answer and transfer calls promptly and politely, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- Attention to Detail: Monitor lobby and guest areas for cleanliness, maintain accurate front desk records, complete required reports, and process purchase requisitions and invoices.
- Positive Energy: Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and bring a fun, energetic spirit to the team as we work hard and have fun together!
- Problem Solving: Listen effectively to understand and resolve guest concerns quickly, both face-to-face and on the phone.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of related experience or training preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, multitasking, and time management.
- Technical Abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems is a plus.
- Personality: Positive, upbeat attitude with excellent listening and communication skills.

Our Hotel
Our hotel in Peoria, IL is the ideal stay for a home away from home with our large suite rooms. The Residence Inn Peoria is a pet friendly and extended stay hotel conveniently located just off I-74 near the Northwoods Mall. Our hotel is minutes from downtown Peoria, Bradley University and the Caterpillar headquarters. If travelers are staying with us on business, our close proximity to the area’s major businesses includes: Maui Jim Headquarters, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Unitypoint Methodist, Accenture, IBM, Deloitte and Bosch.
