Overview

Country Inn & Suites in Cumming, GA is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Sales to lead revenue generation efforts and drive overall property performance.

This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in hospitality who is passionate about building relationships, developing new business, and achieving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR)

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within corporate, group, and SMERF segments

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and travel partners

• Manage and grow negotiated corporate accounts (LNRs)

• Conduct outside sales calls, networking, and site visits

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand generators

• Collaborate with hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business

• Utilize brand systems and reporting tools (Choice Advantage, etc.)

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hotel sales experience (Director of Sales or Sales Manager preferred)

• Strong knowledge of the North Atlanta / Cumming / Alpharetta market is a plus

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities

• Proficiency in hotel sales systems and CRM tools
