Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is seeking a reliable and guest-focused Shuttle Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for our guests. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality while transporting guests to and from designated locations, assisting with luggage, and sharing helpful local knowledge to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Safely transport guests to and from designated resort and local locations in accordance with hotel standards and traffic regulations
Provide friendly, professional service and ensure guests feel welcomed and comfortable during transportation
Assist guests with luggage, packages, and personal belongings as needed
Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel shuttle vehicle
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow all traffic laws, hotel safety standards, and driving policies to ensure guest and staff safety
Provide guests with information about the resort, local attractions, dining options, and points of interest
Communicate effectively with the Front Desk and other departments to coordinate transportation needs
Assist with additional guest service duties as needed to support overall resort operations

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Previous guest service or hospitality experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 pounds
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time
Ability to assist guests with loading and unloading belongings safely

Radio and telephone communication devices

Work Environment

Primarily outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions
Frequent interaction with guests and resort staff in a hospitality setting
