JOBPURPOSE: To ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, hallways,
back of house and landing meets Omni 4 Star/4 Diamondstandards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways, guest elevatorareas,and service areas.
Assigns special projects as directed by thehousekeeping leadership team.
Worksin coordinator capacity as needed.
Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
Assistsin training all new housekeeping staff.
Ensurethat all GRAs haveappropriate suppliesand linens.
Assistsin the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
Assistsin processing AM and PM room status reports.
Ensures that the GRA'scart is neat and well organized.
Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
Ensures thatthe housekeeping closets are well stocked.
Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phoneandelectronic deviceafter completion.
Ensure all guest room doors be held open with a door stopper when needed.
Ensure VIP rooms must be inspected ASAP.
Ensure thatcheck out rooms are a priority.
Knowledge ofhotel,facilitiesand events.
To ensurehotel,guestand associates aremaintainedin a safe and secure
Environment.
Signs off on all room attendant and houseattendant'sworkload for the day
Duties,responsibilitiesand work locations may change or be assigned at any time based on business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previoussupervisory experience inhousekeeping and/or other relevant hotel experiencerequired.
Able tomaintaina Diamond level cleanliness standard.
Able to work with management on special projects.
Able to set priorities for your section.
Strong attention to detail.
Senseof urgency.
Fast paced.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
ENVIRONMENT&POSITION ANALYSIS:
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds withoutassistance.
Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Requires repetitive motionof arms, hands, and legs.
TOOLS& EQUIPMENT:
Telephone,mobile device,push to talkradio, cart, vacuum, mop and broom,dusterand chemicals.
