Overview

The Food & Beverage Summer Internship at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines, offers hands-on experience across several restaurant outlets, poolside dining and bars, in a high‑volume resort environment. Interns will support daily service operations, learn Hyatt service standards, and collaborate with both front‑of‑house and culinary teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Throughout the program, interns gain practical hospitality skills, strengthen communication and teamwork, and build a strong foundation for future careers in food, beverage, and resort operations.

What You’ll Learn

Full-service restaurant and banquet operations
Leadership, teamwork, and communication in a fast-paced environment
Guest service excellence and problem‑solving techniques
POS systems, workflow efficiencies, and operational standards
Cross-functional collaboration with culinary, banquet, and front-of-house teams

Requirements

Hospitality, Tourism, or Business students preferred
Strong guest‑service mindset
Ability to work weekends/holidays and outdoors as needed May through August
Strong communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in a similar role (hospitality, food & beverage, customer service)
Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting/moving supplies as needed
