Description
Job SummarySun Outdoors Myrtle Beach is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Concessions Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the concessions pizza kitchen and waterpark food outlet. This full-time seasonal role supervises staff, ensures food quality and safety, manages inventory, and supports a positive guest experience in a fast-paced resort environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily concessions kitchen operations, including pizza, fryer, and grill stations
Schedule, supervise, and support concessions staff based on business needs
Ensure food quality, portion control, presentation, and food safety standards are met
Oversee safe operation of kitchen equipment and maintain sanitation standards
Order food and supplies, monitor inventory, and minimize waste
Collaborate with Main Restaurant and Main Kitchen F&B Supervisors to maintain consistent standards
Address guest concerns related to concessions service and escalate as needed
Participate in meetings, training, and operational planning
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food safety regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
Stand and remain physically active for up to eight (8) hours per shift in kitchen and outdoor environments
Walk throughout the property, including between concessions and waterpark areas
Lift, carry, push, or pull up to fifty (50) pounds
Perform repetitive food preparation tasks and operate kitchen equipment
Bend, reach, kneel, and work in hot and humid conditions
Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, and guests
Use POS systems, tablets, and scheduling software
Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak season
Supervisory experience in food service or concessions
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Strong leadership and communication skills
ServSafe certified required within 30 days of hire
