Farm Dog, our popular poolside food truck, is looking for a friendly, energetic, and service‑minded Seasonal Cashier to join our team for the busy resort season. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with guests, and delivering fast, friendly service in a fun, relaxed environment.

Full open availability through September of 2026 is required for this Seasonal position.

Job Summary

The Seasonal Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by accurately processing orders, managing transactions, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience at the pool and food truck area. This position supports the Farm Dog team in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming operation.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests with a warm, positive, and engaging attitude.
Accurately take food and beverage orders using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
Process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions efficiently and responsibly.
Provide menu information and answer guest questions with confidence and enthusiasm.
Assist with expediting and packaging orders to ensure quick service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck service area, including counters, condiment stations, and guest spaces.
Support team members with restocking supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and general setup/breakdown tasks and other duties at the pool such as food running as needed.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Hyatt brand standards.
Deliver a guest‑focused experience that reflects the welcoming spirit of Hyatt Regency Lost Pines.
Assist with other duties such as food running as needed.

Requirements

Previous cash‑handling or customer‑service experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced outdoor environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork.
Must be available for weekend, holiday, and peak-season shifts.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Texas Food Handler’s and TBAC certification required
