Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 per year
• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events including weddings, fundraisers, and social gatherings
• Guide and assist clients with ballroom configuration, floor plans, agendas, audiovisual needs, and other key event details
• Prepare detailed Event Resumes that include all pertinent information and distribute them to departments and staff within required timelines
• Ensure guest satisfaction at all times while adhering to company policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional approach when working with clients, event planners, vendors, and team members
• Keep client files organized and up to date with all required information
• Monitor updates to Event Resumes and communicate changes to the appropriate departments and staff in a timely manner
• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and ensure their vision is executed successfully
• Manage event logistics including venue setup, catering coordination, audiovisual arrangements, and décor
• Provide exceptional guest service during events and address any issues that arise
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in event management
• Previous experience in event planning or the hospitality industry preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail to ensure flawless event execution
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
