We are looking for a …  Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary team and help lead daily kitchen operations while ensuring an exceptional dining experience rooted in thoughtful, heartfelt hospitality. This is a working leadership role for a skilled and motivated culinary professional who leads by example, values consistency and quality, and fosters a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.

The Kitchen Supervisor works closely with the Chef de Cuisine and culinary leadership to oversee line execution, support and guide the kitchen team during service, and ensure standards are consistently met. This role plays a key part in upholding Lyle’s culture, mission, and philosophy while maintaining calm, organized, and efficient kitchen operations.

Kitchen Supervisor Essential Functions:

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and support smooth service execution across all stations
• Lead the line during service, setting the pace and standard for quality, consistency, and teamwork
• Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and plating standards
• Support the Chef de Cuisine with training, coaching, and onboarding of kitchen team members
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards are upheld throughout the kitchen
• Monitor food handling, storage, and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with culinary and service teams to ensure efficient service flow
• Assist with prep, inventory awareness, station setup, and breakdown as needed
• Contribute to a positive, calm, and professional kitchen environment reflective of Lyle’s culture

This position requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 2+ years of culinary experience, including prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong cooking fundamentals with the ability to support and guide multiple stations
• Hotel or high-volume restaurant experience preferred, but not required
• Warm, approachable leadership style with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Exceptional organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of high service standards; Forbes standards knowledge is a plus

Compensation:

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
