Catering & Events Manager

Full-Time

Hawk Pointe Golf Club is seeking an experienced Catering & Events Manager to join our dynamic leadership team, dedicated to the continued growth of banquet operations.

The Catering Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all private events at the Club, including weddings, corporate functions, golf outings and specialty dining experiences. This role serves as the primary liaison between members, guests, and the Club’s culinary and service teams to ensure seamless event execution and an exceptional hospitality experience that reflects the Club’s standards.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, detail-driven, and experienced in private-club or upscale hospitality environments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all catered events from inquiry through execution and post-event follow-up
• Prepare event proposals, contracts, BEOs, and accurate pricing in accordance with Club policies
• Oversee on-site event execution, including room setup, service flow, staffing coordination, and breakdown
• Maintain organized event records, calendars, and forecast reports
• Assist in developing event menus, packages, and seasonal offerings
• Maintains daily, well-documented sales information, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues
• Promptly follows up on all customer calls and requests in an efficient and expedient manner

Other Duties

• Assists with special projects, Club events and seasonal décor
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Clubhouse Operations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of catering, event management, or banquet sales experience, preferably in a private club, resort, hotel, or upscale hospitality environment
• Flexible schedule required, including events, weekends and holidays
• Computer knowledge is a must - Microsoft, Excel, and either POS systems or catering programs, knowledge of preparing invoices and filing systems is a plus
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Some bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting (up to 40lbs) will be required
