About the Role: We’re seeking a highly energetic and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our TEAM. If you enjoy building relationships with clients, guests, local partners and have a knack for prospecting, consider this opportunity!

As Sales Manager, you will partner with our exceptional operations team to achieve and exceed our property's sales goals.

Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the market and a proven track record of growing revenue, profit, and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Actively promote and represent the hotel's services and facilities to potential clients and customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Keen understanding of the Moab market.
  • Revenue Generation: Through active prospecting and customer retention efforts, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed individual revenue targets within designated market segments.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business. Nurture local partnerships.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Sales Manager in Moab, or a similar market. Brand experience a plus. 
  • Education: A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is desired.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hospitality CRM system (STS, Delphi, etc.) 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including timely follow-up on tentative business and development of new opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a competitive environment and manage interpersonal conflicts professionally.
  • Brand Ambassador: Maintains high visibility with peers and has strong product knowledge within competitive properties and the hotel community
