The ideal candidate for this position

• Hotel or hospitality experience is preferred
• Prior roles in front desk, reservations, or sales offer a solid foundation
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
• Adept at managing fast-paced environments
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively
• Computer proficiency, especially in MS Word and MS Excel
• Proficiency in Delphi.FDC
• Quick learner with a knack for mastering new software

What you will be doing

• Organize, lead, and actively participate in properties’ sales and marketing efforts.

• Develop and execute an annual marketing plan for each property.

• Maintain relationships with target accounts and local partners. 

• Develop and sustain core accounts. 

• Actively manage to develop, track, and follow up on potential sales leads.

• Utilize the hotel’s sales system to enter all information for consistency and accuracy.

• Investigate any client comments or concerns that may pose a problem.

• Make sure that the customer is kept with good accommodation and address problems/troubleshoot any difficulties that the customer may have.
• Confer and cooperate with property managers and department managers to coordinate hotel/convention center activities/events.
• Ensure support is available to staff as necessary.
• Pay attention to the details, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests’ needs and expectations.
• Maintain an active and visible position in the local community and industry.
• Participate in community activities, team member functions, and guest events.
• Generate monthly/quarterly reports on sales to General Manager and ownership.
• Attend industry events approved and assigned by ownership.
