We are seeking a Senior Group Sales Manager to drive revenue growth within the Corporate Group segment. This role requires a proactive, strategic, and relationship-driven sales professional who can elevate The Wall Street Hotel’s market share among top-producing corporate group clients. This role will oversee overall day to day operation, planning, and long-term outlook of this segment. The Senior Group Sales Manager reports to The Director of Sales and Marketing.

Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Sales & Account Management
  • Proactively source, qualify, and close corporate group and meeting business across local, national, and international markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, corporate travel buyers, third-party intermediaries, and key decision-makers.
  • Create and present tailored proposals that reflect the hotel’s luxury positioning and unique selling points.
  • Negotiate group rates, terms, and contracts that align with revenue goals and brand standards.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to ensure optimal yield and profitability on all group bookings.
  • Maintain accurate account information and pipeline tracking in the CRM system to ensure strong forecasting accuracy.
  • Monitor production and booking patterns to identify opportunities for growth and account development.
  • Works with internal departments to ensure clear communication for all VIPs and any special requests are met for in-house guests
  • Entertain clients, as appropriate
Collaboration & Cross-Department Coordination
  • Collaborate with Revenue, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless group execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop group promotions, client appreciation events, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Work closely with Catering & Events to ensure clear communication and flawless service delivery for groups requiring event space.
  • Participate in weekly revenue strategy meetings to align on rate, inventory, and market opportunities.
Market Development & Representation
  • Represent The Wall Street Hotel at industry trade shows, client events, and corporate showcases to grow brand awareness and relationships.
  • Conduct sales calls and client entertainment to strengthen existing partnerships and uncover new business.
  • Stay current on competitor activity, market trends, and new developments within the NYC luxury group segment.
  • Host site inspections and FAMs for corporate and incentive buyers to showcase the hotel’s meeting spaces and accommodations.
Reporting & Performance
  • Achieve or exceed Group Revenue goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, pipeline status, and conversion metrics.
  • Contribute to the annual sales and marketing plan, providing insight on group segment trends and revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel contracting policies, credit procedures, and rate integrity standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experienceas a Group Sales Manager in a Luxury Hotel.
  • Proven success in generating and converting Corporate Group leads within a competitive market.
  • Strong knowledge of Delphi and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Established network of corporate and third-party group contacts preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional, polished, and able to represent The Wall Street Hotel brand with sophistication.
  • Must be able to relate to all levels of management
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Must have superior organizational skills
