Overview
The ITSM Operations Administrator reports to the Sr Manager, IT Service Desk. This role administers, deploys, secures, maintains, and continuously optimizes the organization’s enterprise endpoint management environment, with a primary focus on Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
This role manages the lifecycle of corporate Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices, including enrollment, configuration, application deployment, compliance, operating system updates, vulnerability remediation, and device retirement.
The Endpoint Management Administrator partners closely with IT Support Services, Infrastructure, Information Security, Field Technology, and application owners to provide a secure, standardized, and reliable endpoint experience across corporate and property environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Microsoft Intune environment
Create, test, deploy, and maintain Intune configuration profiles and policies
Manage Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices through Microsoft Intune
Maintain device enrollment profiles, enrollment restrictions, and device configuration standards
Monitor enrollment failures, device health, compliance status, and policy deployment results
Troubleshoot Intune synchronization, enrollment, configuration, and policy issues
Maintain appropriate role-based access and administrative permissions within the endpoint management environment
Review the environment regularly for opportunities to improve reliability, standardization, security, and automation
Manage Autopilot hardware hashes, device records, group tags, and deployment profiles
Configure and maintain Enrollment Status Page settings
Support standardized provisioning processes for laptops, desktops, and all-in-one devices
Troubleshoot Windows Out-of-Box Experience and Autopilot deployment failures
Maintain established device naming and provisioning standards
Support device wipe, reset, reimage, replacement, and reassignment processes
Package, test, deploy, update, and maintain applications through Microsoft Intune
Create and maintain Win32 application packages
Coordinate pilot and phased application deployments before broad production rollout
Publish approved applications to Company Portal when appropriate
Maintain application versions and retire outdated packages
Work with business and technical application owners to validate application functionality prior to production deployment
Troubleshoot application installation and deployment failures
Support the complete endpoint lifecycle from initial provisioning through retirement
Perform new device provisioning, enrollment, replacement, reassignment, wipe/reset, reimaging, retirement, and decommissioning.
Remove stale device records and maintain accurate device information within Intune and Entra ID
Follow established change management requirements for production endpoint changes
Maintain accurate technical documentation for endpoint configurations and processes
Serve as a technical escalation point for endpoint management issues that cannot be resolved through standard Service Desk troubleshooting
Provide escalation support for Intune enrollment failures, Windows Autopilot issues, application deployment failures, device compliance issues, configuration policy conflicts, Windows Update failures, Entra device registration issues, Company Portal issues, and device provisioning failures
Qualifications
Experience administering Microsoft Intune in an enterprise environment
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID
Experience managing Windows endpoints
Experience with Windows Autopilot
Experience packaging and deploying applications through Microsoft Intune
Experience creating and maintaining Intune configuration profiles and policies
Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
Experience troubleshooting Windows enrollment, configuration, and application deployment issues
Experience with Windows Update for Business
Working knowledge of endpoint security and compliance concepts
PowerShell scripting experience
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple deployments and technical initiatives simultaneously
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with other IT teams

Working Relationships
Will interact with all employees of Omni Hotels & Resorts on a regular basis, including IT and other cross-functional team members at the Corporate Offices and property locations.
Expectations
Work closely with IT Support Services, Information Security, Infrastructure, Field Technology, Network Engineering, application owners, property IT teams, Microsoft, and third-party vendors. Coordinate testing and deployments to minimize business disruption and ensure enterprise endpoint standards are followed
Responsibilities will require being on call and at times working off hours based on critical system outages, upgrades, etc.
No regular travel required.
