A design-led lifestyle hotel, Hotel Park Ave sits at the heart of the NoMad neighborhood on one of Manhattan’s most famous streets. The hotel has 189 guest rooms of which 9 suites, Restaurant Park Rose, Speak Easy Bar Seed Library and Terrace Golden Child.

The Housekeeping Manager oversees all daily housekeeping operations to ensure Hotel Park Ave maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. This role leads a third party team of room attendants, housepersons, and public area staff, ensuring efficient workflows, consistent quality, and a positive, professional work environment. The Housekeeping Manager partners closely with the third party Housekeeping partner, Front Office, Engineering, and Leadership to support seamless hotel operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance - Conduct regular room and public area inspections; address deficiencies promptly and coach staff to maintain excellence.
  • Inventory & Supplies - Oversee ordering, storage, and distribution of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities; maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Guest Experience - Respond to guest requests and service issues with urgency, professionalism, and a solutions‑focused approach.
  • Safety & Compliance - Ensure staff follow all safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and OSHA guidelines; maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaboration - Coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering to prioritize room readiness, maintenance needs, and special projects.
  • Prioritize VIPs, early arrivals, and inspect stayovers

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel or hospitality environment (NYC experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
  • Experience with inventory management and scheduling systems.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.

Work Schedule:

Full‑time, (divided over 4 days) including weekends and holidays based on operational needs.

Hourly Pay $28.00
