Omni Hotels in Providence is seeking a dynamic Accounting Generalist with a positive attitude, professional communication skills, possess strong accounting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) billing and collection of Catering groups
Assist the Director of Finance (DOF) with daily Ledger reviews and corrections for groups
Maintain BirchStreet compliance
Maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) Catering billing
Assist the Assistant Director of Finance (ADOF) with Treasury workbook credit card reconciliations
Be flexible and collaborate with the accounting team to cover vacation schedules as needed
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Data entry, document management, file creation, and previous records experience required
Proven knowledge of accounting systems
Deep understanding and working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Ability to effectively organize workspace and time
Professionally communicate with individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.
Previous accounting experience in a hotel or multi-department environment is highly preferred
